Our Onion Creek School Board was one of the boards in the state that was recognized as a Board of Distinction for 2025.
We were given this award on November 20th in Seattle at the annual WSSDA conference of the Washington State School Directors' Association.
Board members who were able to attend and receive this award were Joel Anderson, new board member Jennifer Miller, retiring board member Elissa Dyson and Superintendent Dan Read. Members of our Board of Distinction who were unable to attend were Leola Butler, Lucas Miller and Sharon Sundheim.
