Professional Information:
I have been teaching since 1982. I am a graduate of EWU in Cheney, Washington, with a B.A. in Ed in Reading. I have taught in Onion Creek School since 1986. I have worn many hats here, teaching everything from 1st to 8th grade. Most of the time, I teach the primary grades, generally 1st -3rd graders. I earned my Masters Degree from Heritage College. I was a state finalist for Washington State Teacher of the Year in 1994. One of my proudest accomplishments has been my earning of National Board certification status in 2001. My certification is in the area of Early Childhood Generalist. In the year that I was awarded my NBCT, there were only 112 teachers who were NBCT’s in Washington State. I love teaching in a multiage classroom. It is never boring!
